A free online murder mystery game, one case a day
Murder OX is a free online murder mystery game you can play in your browser, with no download and no account. Every day a new case appears: a victim, a house full of suspects, and a set of clues that fit together in exactly one way.
If you have played murder sudoku or a logic grid puzzle before, you already know the shape of it — but there are no numbers here. Instead of placing digits you eliminate suspects, weapons and rooms with ✕ and ✓ until only one arrangement survives. It is a daily logic puzzle and a detective game at the same time: the deduction is real, and so is the whodunit.
Each crime puzzle is generated and then checked by a solver, so guessing is never required. Beginners can start with today's case and work up; the difficulty climbs from rookie to fiendish as the days pass. Nothing is locked, nothing is timed, and there is no score chasing you.
