Murder OX is a single-player logic puzzle game. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, e-mail address, phone number or any other information that identifies you personally.
Your progress — which cases you have closed, your stars, your remaining hints and whether you have bought the ad-free upgrade — is stored only in the app's local storage on your own device. It never reaches a server we control. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
The free version of Murder OX shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. To serve those ads, Google may collect and process device-level data such as a device advertising identifier, coarse location derived from an IP address, and information about how you interact with an ad. We do not receive this data ourselves and we cannot link it back to you.
Google's own policy explains what they collect: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
The ad-free upgrade is handled entirely by Apple. Payment details are given to Apple, never to us — we only receive confirmation that the purchase succeeded so that the app can switch off the ads.
Murder OX is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. The game's theme is fictional detective work; it contains no graphic content.
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export or erase on request. Everything the game knows about you is on your device and is removed when you delete the app.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this same address with a new date at the top.
